Mississauga's Santa Claus Parade Comes to Celebration Square for 2025
/On September 29th, 2025, the City of Mississauga announced that the Mississauga Santa Claus parade, previous presented by the Mississauga Auto Mall at Dundas and Glen Erin, will take place at Celebration Square for 2025.
While there’s no confirmation that this will be the case in future years, the hub for community activities in Mississauga, Celebration Square, will likely see this event happen on an on-going basis.
As of today, the parade route has not been announced but keep an eye on the Mississauga Santa Claus parade website for the announcement, as well as your trusted media outlet, Modern Mississauga Media.
Will you be attending this year at Celebration Square instead of the Mississauga Auto Mall?
A city press release states: “Now part of the City’s annual Light Up the Square celebration on Saturday, November 22, presented by TD, it promises to be even bigger in attendance, participants and community support.
Fittingly themed “Shine Bright, Sauga!”, this new evening parade invites participants to deck their floats or costumes with bright, colourful LEDs and shine a light on their culture, holiday traditions and proud community spirit. The City of Mississauga is proud to support non-profit organizations in participating in the parade by providing access to essential resources and collaborative planning opportunities.”
Community groups, businesses, cultural organizations and performers are invited to showcase their holiday spirit and creativity by joining the parade. Applications that meet the participant criteria will be evaluated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
